Embark on Space Missions with the Sturmanskie Mars

The Mars 2 limited line is a series of timepieces for the future, which combine vibrant futuristic aesthetics with equally stunning functionality. They are protected from water and vibration, and are powered by the reliable Japanese self-winding NH35 Seiko calibre with a 41-hour power reserve. This model has a trendy khaki finish with bright red highlights. The dial shows the time and the date, and the numbers and hands are luminous and perfectly visible in the dark. The sides of the case are covered with enamel by hand. The crown is additionally protected from water. Shock absorbers between the case and the movement protect the calibre from vibration, while the sapphire crystal securely covers the dial. The silicone strap fits comfortably on the wrist and retains its look of perfection for a long time.

About Sturmanskie

The Russians were the first to explore space on 12 April 1961 when cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin, orbited the Earth in his Vostok-1 for one hour and forty-eight minutes. On his wrist, he wore a Sturmanskie watch, the first special timepiece in the world designed and manufactured to go in to space.

Withstanding the severe conditions of zero gravity, strong accelerations, unpredictable vibrations, and varying temperatures, Sturmanskie was the first brand to make astronomical feats in the watch world.

Its innovation was owed to the nautical and aviation chronometers originally developed for the Military Air Forces and Navy by the First Moscow Watch Factory.

The brand Sturmanskie was first launched in 1949. Back then, it was exclusively available for the Armed Forces and Navy of the USSR. It was only in 1983 that Sturmanskie watches were made available to the general public.

Sturmanskie designs continue to be inspired by and pay homage to new frontiers, adventure and exploration.
