For Pilot watch enthusiasts, Laco watches really needs no introduction. Founded in 1925, they were one of the original manufacturers of German Flieger watches. Still based in Pforzheim, Germany, Laco is known for their exacting quality, exceptional finishing, and attention to design detail.
The new version of the Laco Aachen 39 (model 861990) is Laco's modern, well-priced update to the classic Navigator design. Featuring a "Type B" dial with an inner hour index and a large outer minute index. Roman sword hands that perfectly hit their respective marks make for easy reading at a glance. The 39mm case design houses a Laco 21 automatic (self-winding) movement. The hands and dial markers are treated with SuperLuminova for excellent readability in the dark. Like the original WWII Laco watches, there is no date window. Includes a really nice brown leather strap with rivets like those used in WWII.
