Baikal" is one of the most enchanting regions of Siberia. The archaic beauty has always inspired people and magically attracted them. The combination of cold climate, ancient and untouched nature, rocks and Lake Baikal creates a unique feeling that only those who have been there can understand.

The hand-wound chronograph of the same name attempts to transport these emotions, which are difficult to describe. The chosen dial colors black, white and salmon symbolize the prevailing colors of nature. The structure created by the guillochage further reinforces the theme. The Roman numerals remind of the durability and the pointed hands of the harshness of the Siberian nature.

The chronograph function allows seconds and minutes to be measured, which can be switched on and off using two easy-to-use side-mounted pushers. The measurement is started and stopped by pressing the top button and reset by pressing the bottom button.

The caliber 2901SeaGull movement, decorated with Côtes de Genève and fitted with blued screws, is clearly visible through the mineral glass back.

The watch is rounded off by a matching brown leather strap.

All in all, this large-format chronograph exudes elegance and noblesse and impresses with its special delicacy.

The roots of the watch brand “Poljot-International” date back to the 1930s, when the “First State Watch Factory” was founded in Moscow. In 1961, after the flight of the first citizen of the earth, Yuri Gagarin, into space, the watches produced by the factory were given the designation “Poljot” (the flight).

All watches of the brand “Poljot-International” are manufactured in Germany today. Nevertheless, the charm and delicacy in the design, the skilful hands of the master watchmakers, the warmth of the Russian soul and, of course, the love for Russia can be seen and felt.
