In fact, quite to the contrary, we have long been fans of carbon, not the kind of molecule common to all human beings! No. Nor the carbon compressed over time to become a precious diamond. Another resounding NO to the great annoyance of our loved ones!
No. We’re evidently talking about the one and only carbon relevant to us watch aficionados. The kind of composite material which is woven, shaped and heated to become a robust, light and dare we say beautiful case for our timepieces.
And so, it is for our new PS3/02 “RED”. SEVENFRIDAY’s 5th carbon iteration is in our
distinctive TV shape wrapped in black carbon fiber, with a subtle white resin highlight on the bezel and a matching 7F logo on the crown.
This new edition is noticeably different in its dial treatment. Our trademark 4-layer
construction now sports a distinctive skeletonized second layer. In opaline gunmetal, this pared-down treatment adds a sense of lightness not found before. The seconds’ counter is solid red whereas both the hour hand and minute disk feature red highlights.
This play in contrasting highlights can also be seen on the inner bezel, where different colors are stretched over the circumference, every 20 minutes or so; first cement grey, then white with the last third in red. And because more fiber is good for you, the genuine leather band is inset with TORAY ultra-micro fiber!
As ever it remains above all a genuine SEVENFRIDAY, with all the unique hallmarks you have come to expect like our proprietary NFC chip for authentication and warranty registration. But also fun stuff like signing up for our UPO7F, a universe where you can hook up with like-minded SEVENFRIDAY Fans. That too is good for you!

But something’s missing. As it is the gift-giving season and to show you that we at
SEVENFRIDAY do care, we thought we’d also have a GREEN version, the PS3/01.
So you see, we may be Swiss but we’re not Neutral, carbon neutral that is. Yet we know when
to go Green too!
