With its carefully crafted, high-gloss polished stainless steel case, the Zeppelin Los Angeles series safely preserves its intrinsic value. Underneath the slightly arched crystal glass is a crisp white dial, a red and blue outer tachymeter scale, hands and hour numbers, a date field at half past two and two totalizers for second and minute on three and nine. This of course includes the appropriate chronograph movement, here it is the proven caliber Seiko NE88 with start-stop function and seconds.
The parent company POINTtec came to be in 1987 by Wilhelm Birk and soon took off as a well-recognized brand. After initial success with brands like Maximilian Munchen and Junkers, POINTtec launched Zeppelin watches in 2002. The Zeppelin brand looked towards the pioneers of early aviation.
