Baltic’s New Scalegraph: The Official Watch of Tour Auto 2025
Everything You Need to Know About the Sleek Sports Watch Inspired by Classic Car Racing
It's BALTIC third year as the Tour Auto official timekeepers, marked by the evolution of BALTIC sports chronograph: meet the Scalegraph, the new chronograph water-resistant to 100 meters.
A modern interpretation of a classic design, the Scalegraph aspires to be a sports watch usable on a daily basis, yet more capable in extreme conditions thanks to its screw-down pushers. This new water resistant design, paired with the "Big Eye" layout and the concentric index line, are the signatures of this all new Scalegraph Tour Auto 2025 limited edition from BALTIC Racing Department.
Not only the official timer, the BALTIC Racing team will also take part to this iconic race with two classic cars, this year between Paris and Nice. A true trial by fire for the Scalegraph.
A BIG EYE FULL OF HISTORY
The Scalegraph Tour Auto limited edition displays many racing inspired details, such as the "Big Eye" sub-counter layout. This particular design stands out as a proper motorsports feature from the seventie; it was a way to make the minute sub-counter more legible in racing conditions.
The various blue hues on the dial as well as the minute sub-counter sectors colors are also an homage to the original color scheme of the Tour de France Automobile. Some other new details of the Scalegraph are more subtle, such as this concentric index line connected to Luminova dots on the railway, an important part of its new visual language.
100M OF WATER-RESISTANCE AND 63 HOURS OF POWER RESERVE
The Scalegraph is now more capable chronograph thanks to its screw-down pushers allowing a 100meter water resistance.
This new capability is combined with the SW510-M caliber, a mechanical hand-wound chronograph movement developed by the Swiss manufacturer Sellita. With 63 hours of power reserve, this complication movement is known for its sturdiness, making the Scalegraph usable in extreme circumstances.
A SENSIBLE 14.1MM PROFILE
Featuring a double-domed sapphire cyrstal and a 316L steel case, the Scalegraph offers an elegant 14.10mm thickness and 47mm lug to lug. Those materials and dimensions give the chronograph a refined look with a feel of thoughness.
A LIMITED AND NUMBERED EDITION OF 400 PIECES
To celebrate BALTIC's third year as the Tour Auto official timekeeper and the release of the new Scalegraph, the Tour Auto Limited Edition will be issued to 400 numbered pieces, not a single one more.
BALTIC RACING IN THE TOUR
The BALTIC Racing team will once again take part to the Tour Auto with a 1963 Lotus Elan 26R and a 1965 MG B. Both cars will be competing in "VHC", the category where the only thing that matters is being the fastest. This year's edition will go from Paris to Nice, passing by some legendary tracks such as Dijon-Prenois of the Charade circuit.
The BALTIC Racing Department represents BALTIC passion for all things motorsport through various special projects. Being the Tour Auto official timekeeper and taking part in such a legendary race is an exciting challenge as well as an honour, perfectly picturing BALTIC Racing's DNA.
