Introducing the new Delma Midland
An inspired classic with modern flair
DELMA’s esteemed Midland collection receives a new look with the introduction of a refined integrated bracelet, revamped bezel and new dial colors.
The name Midland has been significant to DELMA since the beginning of its 100-year history. It was one of the initial four brands used by the founding brothers in the 1920’s. In the years that followed, DELMA focused on conceiving timepieces that were robust and stylish and in 1946 DELMA’s first chronograph, bearing the name Midland, established their aptitude for sports timepieces. By the 1980s Midland was synonymous with precision and velocity with increased proportions and statement details. The Midland collection continuously evolved to include quintessential chronographs and three hand models to accelerate contemporary sportsmen and watch enthusiasts.
The latest evolution continues the Midland’s commitment to meeting the demands of the modern wearer, with a look back in time for inspiration. The new design is based on a model from the 1980’s with a twist. The overall composition recalls the decade’s bold geometric forms with a new integrated bracelet that blends seamlessly with the tonneau shaped case yielding a distinctive modern timepiece. The addition of the fluted bezel adds a classic edge and contrast to the smooth brushed elements. The new dial options in white, black, salmon, evergreen, royal blue, and ice blue are enhanced with a pyramid guilloche pattern. Appointed with applied baton indexes and hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova BGW9, timing is always legible at a glance.
With water resistance to 10 atm, the stainless-steel case is sealed with an exhibition case back revealing the automatic movement and DELMA customized rotor. Complete with a folding clasp with pushers, the latest DELMA Midland in quartz and automatic continues the collection’s pledge to functionality and style that is enjoyable to wear and made to prevail.
