ALEXANDER SHOROKHOFF Happy Second Orange
The happiest dance of the second is back for its second round!
The “Happy Second” model is expanding its collection! After the bold first version, the successor comes with a completely new color design. The new chronograph “Happy Second Orange” shines with a dial in a warm retro orange that transitions into a deep dark brown on the sides—an unusual color combination for Alexander Shorokhoff, who usually delights with his bold, colorful creations.
Yet, the brand stays true to its avant-garde design. To give the automatic chronograph a special “avant-garde kick”, the central chronograph second hand is designed in several bright colors. Once the start/stop pusher at 2 o’clock is pressed, the watch comes to life, and the multicolored second hand begins its joyful dance.
The case of this model is a complete new development. With a diameter of 42 mm and a height of just 12.40 mm, it is remarkably flat for a chronograph movement of the ETA 2894 caliber. The rounded design of the case and pushers gives the watch an elegant and modern aesthetic. The front glass has also been innovatively improved. Unlike traditional domed sapphire crystals, this model features a cylindrical glass, providing an interesting contrast to the flat look of the case.
Inside, the precise ETA 2894 chronograph ticks, with a total height of only 6.10 mm. It offers a stop function with a central second hand, a decentralized minute display at 9 o’clock, and an hour display at 6 o’clock. The rotor, as with all Alexander Shorokhoff watches, is intricately hand-engraved and refined.
The soft calfskin strap with light contrasting stitching seamlessly integrates into the overall concept of the watch. Let the joyful second dance!
About Alexander Shorokhoff
Alexander Shorokhoff was founded in 2003 in Alzenau, Germany by Alexander Shorokhov. The brand was borne out of Shorokhov’s desire to create watches with high standards of workmanship, quality and design.
Shorokhov’s designs are drawn from his Russian roots and the many countries and cultures he visits. Engravings and decorations painstakingly done by hand are signature traits of Alexander Shorokhoff, with a single master watchmaker being responsible for one watch from start to finish.
Truly, a piece of Art on the Wrist.
