The Ikepod Seapod Bronze Yves takes the unmistakable rounded silhouette of the Seapod and gives it a material with a character all its own. Crafted in bronze and limited to just 50 pieces, this GMT-equipped edition is designed to develop a unique patina over time, making every watch increasingly individual to its owner.
Its warm bronze case is paired with a deep green dial and matching green strap, creating a distinctly maritime combination. The name Yves pays tribute to Yves Le Prieur, the French naval officer and diving pioneer whose work helped shape the history of underwater exploration.
Despite measuring 46mm, the Seapod's signature lugless construction and rounded profile allow it to wear closer to a 42mm watch on the wrist. Sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown and 200 metres of water resistance give the watch genuine diving capability.
Luminous hour and minute hands, indexes and 12-hour bezel markers ensure visibility in darker conditions.
Inside is the Miyota 9075 automatic GMT movement, offering approximately 42 hours of power reserve. Its GMT functionality adds another practical dimension to the Seapod, allowing a second time zone to be tracked while retaining the clean, unconventional design for which Ikepod is known.
Bronze is a living material, and that is central to the appeal of the Yves. Exposure to air, moisture and everyday wear gradually changes the surface of the case, creating a patina unique to each watch.
With only 50 examples produced, the Seapod Bronze Yves combines Ikepod's unconventional approach to watch design with the evolving character of bronze, serious diving specifications and true GMT functionality.

ABOUT IKEPOD
Ikepod was founded in 1994 by entrepreneur Oliver Ike and influential designer Marc Newson, the name behind three Atmos clocks for Jaeger-LeCoultre and Ikepod’s cult pod-shaped UFO watches that caught the eye of designers, artists and architects worldwide. Although Ikepod had a bumpy financial ride, it was revitalised in 2018 to attract a new generation with great design and aggressive prices.
