The collection is inspired by the time-transcending atmosphere of the Italian Riviera. The colorway evokes the imagined fading of a vintage galvanic dial. The black color of antique watches, when exposed to typical marine conditions such as humidity, sun exposure, and extreme temperature changes, tends to shift into different hues. We gathered and studied these color variations, used tropic brown and vintage navy to complement the starting black of the dial base. These dominant tones are paired with off-white printing for adequate contrast, accompanied by the rich, creamy old radium luminous.
The aluminum bezel, finished in black and cream, features the traditional five-minute index to keep track of diving time. It also uses proprietary UNIMATIC variable fonts— a subtle detail that merge the modern and the iconic, creating a lettering style that is highly legible and timelessly elegant. The technical specs of this collection are pinnacle in their category: 316 stainless steel, an anti-reflective sapphire lens, a screw-down crown, and a screw-down caseback provide complete waterproofness and robustness, certified by the individual pressure testing to 300m. These watches are equipped with Seiko automatic and mechaquartz movements, known for their reliability, performance, and ease of maintenance.
