About Alexander Shorokhoff
ALEXANDER SHOROKHOFF Flensi Green
A tribute to the beauty of the sea.
During a visit to Flensburg, Alexander Shorokhov was inspired by an unforgettable evening, which began with a relaxed stroll along the quay , where the idyllic and tranquil atmosphere left a lasting impression. The walk came to a perfect end in a cozy local fish restaurant, which rounded off the charm of the evening with its culinary delights. This special experience gave rise to the visionary idea, to designa dial with a fascinating underwater world.
The resulting “Flensi” model, affectionately named after its place of origin, captivates with a dial, that presents a sea of colors and three-dimensional depth. The
background of the dial is designed in four different mother-of-pearl colors: From light mother-of-pearl at the top to a deep, dark mother-of-pearl at the bottom, which artfully imitates the depth of the
water.
The dial shows an impressive composition of different colored of different colored fish and sea elements as applications in 3D effect.effect, creating a vibrant underwater scene
. This unique design captures the beauty and diversity of the underwater world and and masterfully expresses Alexander Shorokhov’s vision.
The fish are made in an avant-garde style with a special color scheme, which emphasizes their lively presence. Every fish wears a friendly, satisfied face – just like
the mood of Mr. Shorokhov on this unforgettable evening. At 8 o’clock you discover a bottle, with a message from afar has floated onto the shores of Flensburg – you just have to find it. At 1 o’clock there is an old anchor, which is said to be hidden somewhere on the seabed of Flensburg.
The limited edition of the watch is seamlessly integrated into the design and can be found between the fish, which further enhances the exclusivity of the model.
Overall, the dial of the model creates a friendly aura and a relaxed mood that is perfectly reflected when wearing the watch.
The hands are striking in black with orange luminous material, which perfectly match the color of the hour appliqués at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and make it easier to read the time. The 45 mm case has two crowns: One at 2 o’clock for the rotating inner bezel and one at 4 o’clock for setting the time. Both crowns are clearly marked to prevent
confusion. In addition, the crowns are fitted with double seals to ensure optimum protection against water pressure.
To design the bezel in a different color, a particularly high-quality process was developed. The bezel is made of robust titanium and was finished with a special anodizing process to apply the color. This creates a harmonious connection between the dial and the bracelet.
The case back presents an artistic design and features a beautiful image from the depths of the sea – an adorable pair of turtles in 3D. Hidden beneath the case back is a
reliable and robust Swiss ETA 2824 movement or an equivalent Sellita SW-200 movement, equipped with a hand-engraved and refined rotor.
A high-quality rubber strap with an elegant folding clasp made from solid stainless steel has been developed for comfortable wearing and carefree handling of water. The
top of the strap features the brand’s avant-garde AS logo on one side and the slogan “Art on the Wrist” on the other.
This unusual model comes in a special watch box. The interior features a wavy fabric cover in a light bluish color. The “peephole” with steel frame in the upper part of the box allows you to admire the clock even when it is closed.
The brand has managed to create another exclusive objet d’art. To increase the value of the watch even further, it is being produced in a limited edition of just 60 pieces.
Alexander Shorokhoff was founded in 2003 in Alzenau, Germany by Alexander Shorokhov. The brand was borne out of Shorokhov’s desire to create watches with high standards of workmanship, quality and design.
Shorokhov’s designs are drawn from his Russian roots and the many countries and cultures he visits. Engravings and decorations painstakingly done by hand are signature traits of Alexander Shorokhoff, with a single master watchmaker being responsible for one watch from start to finish.
Truly, a piece of Art on the Wrist.
