To experience the transition from rectangular to round symbolizes the adaptability and creativity that are inherent in “Alexander Shorokhoff” and are also reflected in the new model “Kandy Sport.” In the simplicity of the phrase “Square Becomes Round” lies the message that even the impossible becomes possible when one embraces change and transformation.

Through the design of the round dial within the rectangular case, these two shapes form a perfect symbiosis. The black dial, with inlays of orange and blue mother-of-pearl, places the focus squarely on the sporty and creative execution of the dial design. While the ring of light blue mother-of-pearl offers a clear and sporty division, the orange mother-of-pearl ring presents an interesting, highly creative, and avant-garde representation of the hours. For instance, the number four is depicted in four parts of a triangle, and the number eight is expressed in Roman numerals. There’s truly much to discover. The hour and minute hands are equipped with white luminescent material for clear time reading even in the dark, and the second hand is orange, emphasizing the sporty appearance.

The rectangular stainless steel case, coated in black PVD and featuring side cutouts with orange enamel, embodies modernity and sportiness. Equally unique is the case back, which showcases four small round glass windows in three different avant-garde colors – red, yellow, and blue. With dimensions of 41 x 41 millimeters, it seamlessly fits on any wrist.

The timepiece is powered by a high-quality Swiss automatic movement with a hand-engraved and refined rotor, blued screws, and 21 jewels. It boasts a power reserve of approximately 47 hours.

The extra-soft black calfskin leather strap, complete with an engraved solid stainless steel buckle and the metallic QR logo emblem, further underscores the sporty orientation of the model. With a limited quantity of only 31 pieces, this watch is undoubtedly another captivating collector’s item within the Avantgarde line.

Alexander Shorokhoff was founded in 2003 in Alzenau, Germany by Alexander Shorokhov. The brand was borne out of Shorokhov’s desire to create watches with high standards of workmanship, quality and design.

Shorokhov’s designs are drawn from his Russian roots and the many countries and cultures he visits. Engravings and decorations painstakingly done by hand are signature traits of Alexander Shorokhoff, with a single master watchmaker being responsible for one watch from start to finish.
