ALEXANDER SHOROKHOFF M.I.K.E. JUMPING HOUR ( LIMITED EDITION)
Alexander Shorokhoff M.I.K.E. Jumping Hour
M.I.K.E. – The bear. The time. The good cause! A bear on a mission.
Time has a heart, and the new MIKE model proves it! M.I.K.E. isn’t just a name, but an attitude:
M – Mission (a mission for a good cause)
I – Inspiration (hope for children)
K – Kindness (compassion and help)
E – Empathy (understanding)
With this strictly limited-edition timepiece, Alexander Shorokhoff presents an extraordinary watch that goes far beyond traditional watchmaking – a mechanical work of art with character, poise and heart.

The name ‘Mike’ is more than just a label. It is derived from ‘Michael’ and its Russian short form ‘Misha’, which translates as ‘bear’. It is precisely this symbol that is subtly concealed within the design: a bear that does not make a loud impression, but only reveals itself upon closer inspection – entirely in keeping with Alexander Shorokhoff’s playful and intellectual design language.
Delicate guilloché patterns and relief-like textures, small colourful eyes and a subtle recess for the mouth in the upper subdial of the minute track bring the bear to life and lend the dial its narrative depth.
This symbolism forms the artistic core of the project and links the watch to the Biker Charity Run Süd. The bear is also the emblem of this event – symbolising solidarity and a spirit of helpfulness. As part of the initiative, donations are collected for children suffering from rheumatism and support is provided for the children’s hospital in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which specialises in treating this condition.

Inside, the watch is powered by the Dubois Dépraz 14400A mechanical automatic movement with a jumping hour – a complication that deliberately reinterprets the passage of time. The hours do not appear to glide by, but rather in distinctive jumps. A large ‘H’ on the upper sub-dial emphasises the graphic architecture of this display and lends the dial an added sense of drama. The seconds are displayed on the lower subdial with large, coloured numerals in the typical AS style.

“Mike” is limited to just 10 pieces worldwide and combines exclusive watchmaking craftsmanship with a clear humanitarian message. For every timepiece sold, 500 euros will be donated directly to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Children’s Rheumatology Hospital, with the support of the Biker Charity Run Süd, initiated by Harald Forster.
The result is a watch that not only measures time, but also takes on responsibility – consistently and consciously. ‘Mike’ is no ordinary timepiece, but a character on the wrist: a silent guardian, an artistic statement and a symbol that even the avant-garde can have a heart.

About Alexander Shorokhoff
Alexander Shorokhoff was founded in 2003 in Alzenau, Germany by Alexander Shorokhov. The brand was borne out of Shorokhov’s desire to create watches with high standards of workmanship, quality and design.
Shorokhov’s designs are drawn from his Russian roots and the many countries and cultures he visits. Engravings and decorations painstakingly done by hand are signature traits of Alexander Shorokhoff, with a single master watchmaker being responsible for one watch from start to finish.
Truly, a piece of Art on the Wrist.
