BALTIC HEURES DU MONDE WORLDTIMER - SODALITE
All times at a glance
Worldtimer Display
The Heures du Monde is thought as a modern and versatile interpretation of Louis Cottier’s work. A worldtimer watch allows you to track all times at once.
Above the dial sits a 24 hours scaled disc. It is matched to the dial colour and more importantly to the ceramic bezel, displaying each time zones. The disc makes a complete rotation in 24 hours.
A Swiss Soprod C125 was chosen to power the watch. It offers a 42 hour power reserve and was freed from its date function.
A thoughtful case
The Heures du Monde is envisioned as a dress watch with tool watch abilities. A 37mm stainless steel case ensures a 100m of water resistance whereas a double dome sapphire crystal and a ceramic bezel ensure longevity. Super-LumiNova® BGW9 on the dial, hands and bezel take care of legibility.
The bezel overhangs the otherwise elegant case, allowing for refined proportions. The Heures du Monde is just 11.3mm thick with a 45mm lug to lug. Vertical on top of the lugs and horizontal on the sides, brushing elongates the lines and preserves crisp edges.
Shaped by nature and time
This new watch features a Sodalite dial. Standing out for its blue palette, both vibrant and deep, this stone offers a mineral elegance. Carved out of thousand-year-old natural stones, dials make each watch truly unique.
The dial is highlighted by faceted sword hands. Both them and baton markers are coated with Super-LumiNova® BGW9, providing modernity while leaving way to the stones.
200 numbered Units
The first series of Heures du Monde is available in 200 pieces per model. Each watch is individually numbered on the case back from 1 to 200. These watches will become part of the permanent collection at a later date.
