The CIGA Design Falcon Carbon Skeleton Watch does not rely on a traditional dial. Instead, it opens the watch completely - front to back - placing the movement at the centre of the design. The Carbon variant intensifies this by framing everything in a darker, more technical palette.

Inspiration & Design

The Falcon is built around the idea of tension held in place. Sharp case geometry, exposed mechanics, and open space work together to create a watch that feels alert rather than static. The design is less about symmetry and more about balance - between structure and void. This is where CIGA Design’s approach becomes clear: the watch is constructed as a system, not layered as separate elements.

Dial & Case Details

The 43.5mm case is defined by its open-worked lugs and balanced crown guards, giving it a distinct, skeletal frame. Surfaces are predominantly micro-sandblasted, contrasted with polished accents and chamfered edges that catch light selectively. The darker finish of the Carbon variant reinforces depth across these transitions.

The bezel is built in layers, with recessed sections and raised markers forming a structured outer ring. A raised crystal adds vertical depth and draws the eye into the movement. With no traditional dial, the movement itself becomes the visual centrepiece - fully exposed and integrated into the watch’s architecture.

Movement & Mechanics

At its core is the self-developed Caliber CD-02. Running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 40-hour power reserve, the movement is designed to be seen as much as it is to perform. It is mounted within a transparent support structure that creates a floating effect - holding the movement in place while maintaining visible space around it. This reinforces the watch’s sense of openness and tension.

Bracelet/Strap & Wearability

The Falcon is paired with a steel H-link bracelet featuring a hidden clasp for a clean, uninterrupted profile. Despite its presence, the watch remains relatively slim at approximately 11mm including crystal. The result is a piece that wears more comfortably than its visual complexity suggests.

Final Impression

The Falcon Carbon is the more assertive execution. Darker, sharper, and more architectural, it emphasises structure and contrast, making the design feel more technical on the wrist.
