Full payment is required before  begins.

Step 2 - Discovery&Direction

Gather the client's references, ideas, or background. Use Google/image generators to produce visual interpretations of their concepts. Once the client confirms a direction, proceed.

Step 3 - Artist Evaluation

We share the agreed direction with the artist to confirm:

• feasibility,
• required adjustments,
• and any limitations.

Step 4 - Artist Sketch

The artist produces a hand-drawn sketch based on the approved direction.

Step 5 - Client Approval 

Show the sketch to the client.

One revision is allowed at the sketch stage -
please ensure the client gives all change requests clearly at this point.

FAQ

1. Why is full payment required?

The provided samples clearly demonstrate the artist's capability. The artist blocks time for the commission. Therefore, full payment is required before engraving begins.

2. How long is the lead time?

Approximately 3months from payment to final delivery.

3. Can changes be made after the watch is delivered?

No. Engraving is permanent. Once the dial is engraved, it cannot be amended.

4. Is the dial engraved by machine or by hand?

Every dial is fully hand-engraved. Engraving takes 3-7 days, followed by treatment, finishing, and assembly. The artist also has a significant waitlist, contributing to the overall 3-month timeline.

5. Can colour be added to the engraving?

Yes - but limited to gold, copper, or silver tones.

6. Is cancellation allowed after payment?

No. Cancellations or refunds are not possible after full payment is made.

7.What if I don't like the final result?
To prevent disappointment, we guide clients through every stage:

• samples,
• reference conversation,
• concept refinement,
• and sketch approval.

This ensures the final product aligns closely with what the client envisions.

8.Can the engraving be done on both the dial and the case

AnoNemo focuses exclusively on dial engraving to maintain legibility, balance, and durability. Case engraving maybe considered for future editions but is not available at the moment.

9. Is the artwork copyrighted? Can I request a famous character or logo?

No. We cannot engrave copyrighted characters, brand logos, or trademarked imagery unless the client owns the rights. We can create original interpretations or themes inspired by the style they like.

10. Will the artist sign the dial?

The engraving itself is the artist's signature. No visible initials or marks are added unless specially requested and if it fits within the design.

11. Can I request a very detailed or photorealistic design?

Dial engraving has physical limitations due t o size, depth, and metal behaviour. Extremely detailed or photorealistic concepts may need to be simplified by the artist.

12. Will the final engraving look exactly like the sketch?

The sketch is a conceptual guide. The final result will follow the approved direction closely,
but slight variations are part of the hand-engraving process and contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.

Horizon Watches is the realisation of watch designer, Fred Bekher’s longtime dream of having his own watch brand. Established in 2021, Horizon Watches’ designs draw inspiration from legends and adventures of the past with a strong eye for design detail. Horizon Watches’ first collection – the Nautilus – is a series of dive watches inspired by Jules Verne’s classic, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. The Nautilus and future collections are dreamed up of and made into reality out of Bekher’s home base in Kherson, Ukraine.
