The Ikepod Seapod Bronze Sylvia brings together the sculptural design language of Ikepod with the evolving character of bronze and the functionality of a true GMT dive watch.
Limited to just 50 pieces, Sylvia pairs a warm bronze case with a blue dial and matching blue strap. The contrast gives the Seapod a distinctly maritime character, while the bronze itself will gradually develop a natural patina through exposure to time, moisture and everyday wear. The result is a watch that becomes increasingly individual to its owner.
The familiar Seapod architecture remains unmistakably Ikepod. Its rounded, lugless case measures 46mm, yet the absence of conventional lugs and its curved profile allow it to feel closer to a 42mm watch on the wrist. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a unidirectional rotating bezel provides the functionality expected of a proper diver.
Super-LumiNova is applied to the hour and minute hands, indexes and 12-hour markers on the bezel for improved visibility in darker conditions. Together with a screw-down crown and 200 metres of water resistance, the Sylvia combines Ikepod's unconventional aesthetic with genuine dive-watch capability.
Inside is the Miyota 9075 automatic GMT movement, providing approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The GMT complication allows another time zone to be tracked, adding useful travel functionality to the Seapod's underwater credentials.
With its blue-and-bronze combination, true GMT movement and production limited to only 50 examples, the Seapod Bronze Sylvia is an Ikepod designed to develop its own character the more it is worn.

ABOUT IKEPOD
Ikepod was founded in 1994 by entrepreneur Oliver Ike and influential designer Marc Newson, the name behind three Atmos clocks for Jaeger-LeCoultre and Ikepod’s cult pod-shaped UFO watches that caught the eye of designers, artists and architects worldwide. Although Ikepod had a bumpy financial ride, it was revitalised in 2018 to attract a new generation with great design and aggressive prices.
