IKEPOD Seapod Jacques
Ikepod Seapod Jacques
Into the blue, the Ikepod way.
The Ikepod Seapod Jacques takes the unconventional language of Ikepod and gives it a distinctly aquatic character. Named with a nod to an icon of French freediving, Jacques pairs serious dive-watch capability with the smooth, futuristic silhouette that makes an Ikepod instantly recognisable.
Designed by Fabrice Gonet, the Seapod combines elements of two important Ikepod designs — the Hemipode and Seaslug — while incorporating a rotating dive bezel into the brand's signature rounded, lugless case.
At 46mm, the Jacques makes a bold visual statement, yet its absence of traditional lugs and curved case profile allow it to wear more like a 42mm watch on the wrist. Its distinctive blue silicone strap reinforces the ocean-inspired personality and gives the watch an unmistakably sporty presence.
Functionality remains at the heart of the design. The hour and minute hands, hour markers and 12-hour dots on the rotating bezel are luminous for improved visibility in low-light conditions. A screw-down crown and 200 metres of water resistance give the Jacques genuine diving capability, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial.
Power comes from the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, a reliable Japanese mechanical calibre chosen to keep the Seapod slim while providing dependable everyday performance.
Bold, unconventional and unmistakably Ikepod, the Seapod S002 Jacques is a dive watch for those who would rather wear something that doesn't look like every other dive watch.

ABOUT IKEPOD
Ikepod was founded in 1994 by entrepreneur Oliver Ike and influential designer Marc Newson, the name behind three Atmos clocks for Jaeger-LeCoultre and Ikepod’s cult pod-shaped UFO watches that caught the eye of designers, artists and architects worldwide. Although Ikepod had a bumpy financial ride, it was revitalised in 2018 to attract a new generation with great design and aggressive prices.
