The Shanghai Watch In Red A623 Revival looks back to an important chapter in the brand’s mechanical watchmaking history, reviving the character of its historic A623 calendar watch in a compact 36mm format.

Its beige spark-textured dial gives the watch a warm vintage character, complemented by understated hour markers and a date display at 3 o’clock. Over the date window sits one of the design’s most distinctive details — a classic bubble magnifier recreated as part of the A623 revival.

The proportions remain suitably traditional. A 36mm case crafted from 316L stainless steel measures just 9.6mm thick, while a domed sapphire crystal adds a gentle vintage profile with the durability expected of a contemporary mechanical watch. The solid stainless-steel case back keeps the design faithful to its utilitarian roots.

Inside is the automatic Shanghai Watch Calibre SH2130, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with 28 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours.

A beige woven strap with a quick-release system completes the watch, complementing the textured dial and reinforcing its understated retro character.
