A Brighter Take on Shanghai Geometry

Clean, architectural and surprisingly versatile, the Shanghai Watch Originate · Fangyu White offers the lightest interpretation of the Fangyu design.

The collection takes its inspiration from Shanghai’s historic Bund City Hall Plaza, particularly the geometry surrounding its enclosed courtyard. That architectural footprint is reinterpreted through a 38mm stainless-steel case, where defined sides meet subtly curved corners.

Against this sculptural case, the white dial keeps things crisp. Fine surface texture prevents it from appearing flat, while applied baton markers and sword-shaped hands give the design a restrained neo-classical influence. The lollipop seconds hand adds a small visual signature, with a date aperture positioned at 3 o’clock.

Power comes from the ST2130 automatic mechanical movement, providing approximately 42 hours of power reserve and visible through the exhibition caseback.

A warm beige Alcantara® strap provides contrast against the white dial and stainless steel, softening the otherwise architectural character of the watch.

Fangyu White is a modern interpretation of Shanghai heritage — not through nostalgia, but through form, proportion and design.
